Like Shopify, you keep your domain at the company where you bought it and point it at Tourdawn. We take care of the hosting and the security certificate (the padlock).
Steps
- Open Settings → Website settings → Domain.
- Type your domain, for example yourcompany.com, and click Connect domain.
- We show you two records to add: an A record for “@” and a CNAME record for “www”. Use the copy buttons.
- Log in where you bought your domain (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Hostinger and others) and open its DNS settings. We show the exact menu for the common ones.
- Add the two records and save. If there are already A or CNAME records named “@” or “www”, edit those instead of adding new ones.
- Back in Tourdawn, click Check connection. Changes can take from a few minutes up to a few hours.
Tip No domain yet? Buy one at any domain company, then come back to the Domain tab. Your free mytourdawn.com address keeps working the whole time.
